Hi all.. a topic that helped me a lot, and, I am sure, will surely be something many of you follow.

When you feel angry with someone, or, feel depressed  that someone you like is being deliberately rude, or something similar, stop for a moment, before reacting. Think of it from the other person's angle.. what would cause him or her to think the way he or she is behaving? A few moments of such thought helps the mind calm down.

Later, I realized that it's all a matter of perception.. some people have a perception that only they are right, and their ego drives this up further. Some have a very low self-esteem, and anything someone says to them makes them retaliate, to somehow make themselves feel a cut above the other person.

A very simple way  to solve such situations, is to just tell the other person' I perfectly understand what you are conveying, and am with you..' And once they feel reassured, put your point across as well, in a positive way. When people are calm, they tend to be more understanding.

Would love to hear everyone's views on this topic, and, how you tackle such situations. Life is, after all, meant to be a statement of joy throughout. Right?
